An All-Time Reminder

So there I was, in front of my mirror and staring at the gigantic tattoo I had just gotten myself about three months ago. As much as I tried to look away I just couldn’t, I kept staring and staring at the drawing on the side of my abdomen with a look on my face that easily let see what I was feeling inside. But what was I feeling? That is the one question I couldn’t answer, not because I didn’t know, but because saying it out loud would only make those emotions worse. It’s very important to say that my tattoo is not just any tattoo done out of teenage rebellion or anything like that. Its story is much more complicated than that and remotes to a period of my life when everything seemed just perfect.

It all started on early November as I walk through the streets of my neighborhood searching for the perfect place to have quick and cheap lunch. As I walked into my all-time favorite Pizza Hot I noticed all seats were taken. Even though some were just occupied by a single person, I decided to head out and look for another place to eat. As I walked towards the door I stumbled upon a beautiful young woman, who pointed out an empty table I hadn’t seen a few seconds before and asked me if I minded sharing it with her. Of course I said it was fine, I just hoped it wouldn’t turn into one of those awkward silences situations. To my surprise we chatted cheerfully, even after we were both done eating. We even stayed there for a half an hour more to finish our conversation.

The next day I also didn’t feel like cooking, so I went to Pizza Hot again. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, Alice, the young lady from the day before, was sitting down eating the exact same thing she had ordered yesterday. I walked by to an empty table, but she waved for me to sit with her. We chatted again and this time we decided to meet somewhere else and we did. We had a wonderful time each time we went out together and of course, I started falling for her.

After some time I decided to let her know what I was feeling. Fortunately, she said she had felt the same way for a long time and gave me a kiss, probably the best one I’ve ever gotten. We dated for a couple of weeks and she became my girlfriend the 16th of July of that same year. After six months of being an incredibly happy couple, I proposed to her in a bench at the park under dozens and dozens of stars. Luckily, she said yes and a few months later we got married on the 16th of July. Married life wasn’t perfect, but we couldn’t complain, we were happy. We still loved each other deeply and spent amazing times with each other. A certain day an idea popped into my head. “ Why not get a tattoo representing my love for her?” So I did, I went to a nearby tattoo place and asked them to sketch a model of the picture I had in my head. When it was done it looked lovely. It was heart with a key in its middle, with two birds, a crown, because she was my princess, and the words “true love” at the bottom. I had it done and showed it to her afterwards. At first, she was mostly shocked, but she said she really liked it after a couple of days.

About four years later, while driving to work, Alice had a car accident caused by a failure on the car’s breaks. She was immediately taken to the hospital, but entered into a comma pretty soon after the crash. Two days have passed since the accident happened and I’m still in shock. What if she never wakes up? That question torments me so much it makes me scream my guts out. So when I look at myself in the mirror and see the tattoo, I feel awful. I can’t describe the exact feeling, but I can say it’s a living hell. It’s like an all-time reminder of how much I love her and I can’t help but feel desperate for not having a way to fix her, to get her out of that stupid comma. Hope is all what is left for me, for her, and for us. For now, I'll visit her everyday and take her nice flowers for her to see them if she wakes up.

Just 30

Now imagine this... some day you feel really dazed and kind of confused, but you don’t know why, then after so many times rolling up and down your room a strange pain in the back of your head is moving upper and upper until it stops in your nose and after that your ears, mouth and nose starts bleeding; then you faint at the middle of nowhere in your house. Your father found you and took you into the hospital and there a doctor came out and said you just have like 7 or 6 years to complete your life. What would you do?

Well there was this guy who actually lives this, his name was Allan. He had a normal life before this, he had really good grades and he had a nice girlfriend who lived far away from him. His girlfriend was named Frida and she was being saved by Allan avoiding the fact that she may commit suicide but she made it at the same day the death notice came to him. Just like nothing the semi-perfect life he was having seemed to disappear.

Talking about love, he was having the worst moment in his romantic life, some girls just make him feel like shit, some others told him thing a man may take as a reason to kill themselves. He had been making friends and those friends never knew he was going to die soon, but some of them always knew about the girls he liked or even at that age loved. I may describe him as a guy who always felt the protector of those girls who needed love, but even loving someone he never receive the same love he send. From all of those girls just one was the one that no one know he love her so much he can die for her, his entire life since he was 15 he started loved her, strange but he never told her that he loved her so much, he was just too shy to tell her his heart belong to her, yes to that beautiful and strange girl named Ashes, I still think he took that secret to his grave.

A problem between Ashes and Allan was that she never made anything to hurt him, she even was a nice and lovely person with him, nice enough they had some romantic situations in some time in Allan´s life; Allan never said anything because of two things the first is that after getting so many scars he don´t wanted another one, he became a fearly boy and the other was that Ashes loved another boy and Allan knew it. He suffered so much because of that but a strange thing in all of this is that Allan was garbage in this world but he never thought even a little in suicide, never.

At 15, Allan was having a surgery in order to give him some few years more of life, when the doctor came out again, he just heard "you will have gone at 30". a sad person or a emo may be become sad, but Allan took advantage of that and he become happier and thought a while: "I can live enough to accomplish some goals like finish college and work some few years more, he wanted to be a medic, I can taste drinks and smokes, before I´m gone, and also may be god is going to be good with me and he will let me hear Ashes saying - I love you too-."

He never wanted something impossible he just wanted to have Ashes some few years in his life, loving her and enjoying the feeling of protecting and repairing the life of Ashes, but sometimes destiny is not a good thing for some humans. He never wanted to have Children because he thought that a father may stay with his son more than just a few years, he always answer he don’t want to have any sons any daughters, he don’t want to make a human suffer his entire life.

I saw him in his last days, and I remember he has holding Ashes’ hand and he gave her a pack of cards that at the end of all said: "Ashes you are the woman I would liked to spent my entire life with, I think I made it that way just as a friend not as a lover, your life still goes on and be sure I will wait for you in heaven, but please understand that I just can reach 30, just 30, and whit all the force I have left I can tell you that I love you". After Ashes read that she turn his crying eyes to Allan, and cried "I love you too", But it was too late Allan was gone by that time.

Sometimes saying what we really feel for someone may save his entire and short life, but also we need to understand that sometimes life is longer enough for some specific reasons.
I looked at the castle infront of me.

All right, so maybe it did look scary. Well, I had gone all this way, I wouldn't look back. Well, not figuratively. Because litterally, I did look back. I looked back at the man in the small white unpainted boat, the one that had brought me to this island. The old man looked back at me, he had given me his warning, yet I hand't taken it, why? Well, because when there is something in my head, I usually close my head to other things. And yes, it has gotten me in trouble sometimes, but, being as stubborn as I am, I of course didn't listen to the old man. As I looked at the old man, I replayed the scene in the boat, the dialogue between the old man and me.

- Ya going to tha' castle ey? Not a goo' thing 'ittle lady, not a goo' thing. -

- Why? I mean, everyone comes up here right? All the time. I'm not the only one, I mean... -

- Who told ya that 'ittle lady? No one comes up here, nobody. -

- Well, it's just, I mean, I...-

- Well, you were mis-informed 'ittle lady. - said the man stubbornly. I was, of course, getting annoyed, because like I told you before, my stubborness was way beyond anything. I had looked at the picture of that castle for hours, the one I had printed from my computer, I had just happened to have googled castles on just another rainy sunday afternoon, and after looking at common castles I saw it. It was old. It was antique. It was mysterious looking. It had an air of rennosaunce in it. It was AWESOME. I tried and looked for it's name, and yet, I hadn't found it, it seemed to have come out of a painters imagination. Was imagination that wonderful? And my answeres contradicted eachohter. Because of course, imagination was wonderful but, that castle couldn't not be imaginative. And I was willing to prove it.

So of course after a lot of research, I found it. I found were it was. And to my pleaseant surprise, it was just like the other picture. It was a place it could only have imagined in my dreams. I think I even cried when I found it, and mom came in only to find me holding the papers of the research, I think I might have heard a murmured "geeze" after she closed the door behind her rolling eyes. I didn't stop talking about it for weeks. Did I say weeks? Well no, it was longer. And I think that was the reason my dad decided to buy the tickets to Europe, so I would see the castle and shut the heck up. And I couldn't ne happier that my excess of talking and happiness had gotten me to Europe. Do I sound happy? Well, yes, I was. And so here I was, looking at the man who was trying to kill my happiness. I had pursued that happiness such a long time, some superstitious old man wasn't going to end it. No way. So I listened to the many stories as I got to the island. Or did I? Ja. No, of course I didn't. If a certain friend of mine had seen me in such stage, he would've clapped infront of my face. And maybe I would've tossed him off the boat because I just couldn't believe it, and I didn't want any dream fading away. Which is just what happened when I heard that strange accentuated voice coming from the other end of the rowing boat.

- Dispi'e my warnin' 'ittle lady, ya steppin' of' the boat? -

I looked at the old man, so maybe he just wanted to help me, but did he ever get tired of it?

- Ar' ya' sure? -

I guess that might be a no.

- Really sir, I appriciate it, but I'll be fine. Thanks. - and I gave him a small smile.

I could see he was concerned, but his age told me he had lived in a world of Loch Ness superstitions and such, his grandfather probably scared him with Dracula and stuff, there isn't many mexican things of the sort, not so strong at least. I mean, you don't get old still believing in the boogieman, or the goat-sucker.

He helped my off the boat, and I got my jeans a bit wet because of the sand. He looked worried. Gosh. How bad could the story about the castle be? Well, grandpa had left his kid with a transtornation, that was for sure. I laughed a little, and he looked at me for the last time.

- Take care 'ittle lady. 'On't say I di'n't warn ya'. -

Geeze, he was getting all creepie with the story.

- All right sir, thank you, have a wonderful day. - and I gave him one last smile.

It was cold and cloudy, I was at the shore of the island, and I decided to take a walk along the beach. My perfect day. I felt the brezee, summer wasn't as wonderful in Hermosillo, the only hopes of it getting as cool, was turning on the a.c., and it didn't even come as close to this feeling. Something made me open my eyes. It was a noise, darn it, noises always ruin moments like these. I stopped and looked at the castle.

- Come on. - I said confidently to myself. I took out the picture from my bag, and then looked at the castle.

I took a step towards it, and started my own adventure, that would hopely, become a grandparent's story.

love is for ever.

Mark and Tina have been dating since high school, but now that they’re on college, they take separate ways, they decide to go to different schools in different places, Tina continues in Chicago, but Mark move to Arizona. Despite of been the most popular and lovely couple of their class, he finished her on the same day of prom, she was devastated, but this is not all, he kissed her best friend an hour latter, that was the drop that spilled the glass, she told him that he was everything she once wanted, but now, he means nothing to her.

Three years later Tina was about to finish college, she had made a lot of friends and she hadn’t think of mark in about two years. She didn’t know that one of her classmates Sean was the brother in law of mark (turun). The prom day was coming, she was preparing for it, she bought the perfect dressed, the perfect shoes, all the things that you’ll need to have the perfect prom. It was just 1 week left, and prom would come, and her friends was commenting about their families, Sean, the one who is her ex-boyfriend’s brother in law, comment about her sister and brother, who are engaged with a VanDerWoodsenand and a waldorf, which is the last name of mark, she didn’t notice the relation between the lasts names.

The big day come, she dressed up, with a beautiful yellow dressed, and went to the most fashion and glamorous salon in the city to make up and get pretty. She was at the hall of the party salon when she saw Mark’s parents it was shocking for her, in this moment she remembered what Sean said about the engagement, she just faided crying on the floor, and every body who walked there saw her, but nobody asked her what happened. She was about to stand up when someone took her by the hand – Tina? Are you ok—she just paralyze at the moment she listened that voice, the voice of a person she thought she has forgot, but she hasn’t, the voice of someone she had love with all her heart, the voice of her blue prince, yes the voice of mark, as soon as she looked up he smile and she was shocked, he helped her to stand up and with the sweetest look she said—Mark? Is that really you? What are you doing here? Go with your fiancée, and leave me alone-- he just took her by the hair and kissed her—that’s what I’m doing—surprised she answered—what are you talking about? Your Sean’s brother in law – he just limited himself to kissed her again—No I’m not, that’s my sister, and is her sister in law actually – She was astonished by the new and extremely happy.

An hour latter she finally went to the dance floor with Mark, they have already talked about everything that happened in their lives in the last three years, none of them have had a couple and confessed their feelings between them they still feel something about the other. When prom finished he took her to a river and wrote on the floor: “Would you marry me?” she smiled like a girl opening her Christmas gift and answered—Only I you promises me that you wont leave again—He accept the condition and give her a little and pretty stone of the river in signal of the ring.

They looked up to the sky and saw how black it was, but he hold her in his arms and with the sweetest voice said—Even if everything looks horrible and bad, and seems like the end of the world, it is not, because you’re here with me, as long as I’m here with you nothing bad would happen , your everything I want you’re my one and only, please stay with me for ever-- she kissed him and promised that they would be together forever, just like the stars on the sky, even if it’s cold or hot, black or white, they would be together. The next day he announced the engagement on Tina’s family with a fancy dinner at the Royal Versailles Restaurant.

Blog Assignment 3 -

Toilet paper chronicles of two jailbirds ~

So there we were stranded and handcuffed to a bed inside a prison cell in Tucson, AZ. What we had done to disserve such terrible fate was…be stupid. I’m not even going to try and make excuses because I believe every act that led us to this horrible destination came from this: Aaron and I not being able to sit still. Maybe it was the sudden realization and panic of finding yourself in a foreign country, completely lost and with no one around to help you that made us go ahead and make all the wrong choices. So I’ve decided to write this story down in, god forbid, toilet paper, so that if I ever have an Advance Writing assignment that applies to this subject I can remember everything correctly and tell the story for everyone’s sick sadistic amusement. That is, of course, assuming we get out of here.

Aaron had been planning this trip for months and everything seemed to be planned with outstanding precision. We had been dating for almost three years and he had proved to be a very calculative guy. Little did I know there are some things you just can’t calculate. Most of the time I like to think things up before I do anything. That way it’s not likely I will have to save my butt later. But for some reason I have yet to explain to myself I overlooked everything that could possibly go wrong and blindly trusted Aaron (Which in the future I will remind myself never to do again.)

The plan was taking a bus from Mexico to Tucson, AZ. Waste a little time (and money) and go back home the same night. It was all kind of pointless really; we didn’t really have to go there, we just wanted to. Perfect example of how not being able to sit still in your own country can get you in trouble. Getting there was not a problem, strangely enough since there’s usually a little difficulty when crossing foreign borders –Especially in the US.

By the end of the day between the two of us we had bought thousands of things, hell we even bought balloons just for the hell of it. We had 8$ left and a couple of quarters to pay for exactly two payphones. It was 11:30 p.m. when we finally made our first call for taxi service. The cab got us to the bus station by 11:50 and our bus wasn’t leaving until 2 a.m. Or at least that was what we were told. As soon as we got off, our cab advanced into the distance not even giving us a chance to notice that we were in for a dreadful surprise. As we marched, or rather intended to march inside TBC bus station we realized the door was locked and through the glass we were able to see there wasn’t a single soul inside. Which meant the obvious, it was closed.
“So what do we do now?” I stared up at Aaron in a very calm manner considering our situation. But it was mainly because I already knew the answer.
“Well, we’ve got some spare change so I guess we’ll call another cab and try Tufesa Bus Station. There’s supposed to be a bus leaving at 2:30 a.m.”
With that said we proceeded to use what was left of our change to call for another cab. It was then, right at that moment when the evil payphone of doom, not only refused to accept our quarters, but didn’t give them back that I started to panic. Okay, to be perfectly honest I went hysterical. Aaron, being the sweetheart that he is, managed to calm me down and get me up and walking. Where we were walking to? It’s safe to assume we had no idea. We figured we had to get somewhere eventually. As my therapist always says, in order to find the answer to a problem you must first stay clam. Well, now I know my therapist (Or former therapist in the near future I’m sorry to say) has never been surrounded by crazy homeless American’s. It seems that every turn we took got us surrounded with more of them when what we really wanted to do was get away. Soon we found ourselves with a gas station which would serve the purpose of getting us some change. We went in and bought a pair of chocolate bars which we devoured with animal devotion. So we had change now but we were suddenly hit with the realization that we had no idea where we were so we couldn’t call a cab to pick us up. I went into full nervous breakdown then. A cop who had eyed us since we approached the gas station seemed to take interest and asked us what was wrong. I took it upon myself to tell him in my best demoiselle in distress manner that we were lost and needed help. After some minimal Q&A he offered to give us a lift which had finally ended my ongoing hatred towards American cops. At least at that point.
The happiness which filled my heart as I realized Tufesa’s doors were wide opened and welcoming us is indescribable so I won’t even try and tell you how happy I was. Oh but no, our problems were so not over.

“Two tickets to Hermosillo” Said Aaron in his best English. Between the two of us I was the only one who spoke fluent English.

“2 a.m., sir?”

“Yes, please” Aaron smiled as the cashier took his money.

“Sorry sir but… are you two under aged?” The big African-American woman whose nametag read Lisa leaned forward to get a better look at the two of us. I was not surprised; Aaron is 17 and has grown no facial hair at all. Even I would be able to tell he was young despite his size and body build.

“Yes. Is there a problem?”

“Well, I’m sorry but I can’t sell you the tickets” Lisa gave Aaron back his money and I looked at him in disbelief. We were right in the same situation as before. Even though we showed her our papers which showed that both of us were soon going to be legal in a couple of months she refused. Aaron gave me our papers to hold while he screamed a felony or two and we stormed out of there. He was angry, or maybe he was just frustrated. I on the other hand was nervous. Nervous enough that in my attempt to light up my backpack by throwing all the garbage in a garbage can I threw away our papers too. Getting them back would’ve been easy if the cap hadn’t been screwed to the can. I kicked and shook the trashcan expecting it to magically pop open but nothing happen –Obviously.

So now thanks to me we were not only lost in a foreign country. We were also illegal. Along with those papers I threw in our visas and Mexican passports. Aaron was angry, and for a moment I thought he was going to scream at me real bad. But then he decided it was best to have his way with the garbage disposal. I was glad he was able to focus his anger at another thing other than me, until a cop conveniently saw him beating the living daylight out of federal property. One look at us and we were doomed. We couldn’t hide out ethnicity, and the fact that I was all red eyed from crying only made him think I was on dope. Which I wish I had been. I mean if you’re going to get blamed for it anyway what’s the point?
He asked for our papers which of course we didn’t have and of course he didn’t believe the trashcan story. So we were in a cop car again only this time we were about to become jailbirds. And that’s more or less what happened. They are currently running tests on my blood to check for narcotics. Aaron has already called his mom. They offered me to call mine but I would be dead before I even hanged-up the phone if I told my her what had happened. The only thing to do now is wait. If I never get out of here this “toilet book” will get longer until I can write a book that will, with some luck, make enough money to bail us out. For now this is all I’ll say, I’m running out of toilet paper. Hope to see you soon, whoever you are -Hopefully not in jail and in the safety of my own country.

There was a child named Bob. He lives next to a lonely beach, he had no friends in there. One day he got nothing to do so he ask her sister if she could play with him but she deny. Bob sit on his bed and wonder about creating an imaginary friend but he thinks that a boy with 11 years was too old for an imaginary friend. He look in his toy's chest for anything to play, there were cars, planes, ships, plastic animals, etc.

That toys were very boring for him. Finally he find a tube of bubbles named "Bubble-Maker" and he has never seen that tube before. He created a big beautiful round colored bubble, from this point that bubble would be his best friend. Bob named the bubble Bob Two.

Bob Two was floating outside of the house of Bob. The bubble was feeling free around the world but Bob warn Bob Two that he better stay close, where he could watch him. Bob Two didn't obey and he went far, he almost could feel the water. Hours passed and Bob Two went to look for Bob, but he wasn't there, he wasn't anywhere.

Bob Two was so scared because now everything was able to hurt him. Bob Two was laying in the sand waiting for Bob to appear. He suddenly see some crabs coming toward him and he was very scared  so he float up and go away. Now Bob Two had no place to be.

Every place was dangerous. Bob Two was crying because he know that he will reach the end soon. Then a wind blast blows over Bob Two and sends him hard to a very irregular rock. Bob Two exploded in that rock.

How to complete a homework assignment

How to complete a homework assignment

Brainstorming:
Students, school, last minute, time, patience, assignments, homework, teacher, distractions, TV, computer, materials, distribution of time, discipline, work, dedication, laziness, etc.

As students we are required to do tons and tons of homeworks and assignments, but sometimes it becomes really tedious and we do them at the last minute and with almost no care. What many people ignore is that doing homework and assignments can be a very when following these steps: clearing your mind from every possible distraction, having in hand every necessary material, and finally getting the work done. With these steps the process of completing assignments will become easier for any student. It is important that the student executes the first two steps perfectly so that the assignment can be finished exactly as required. If the student still has trouble making the assignment the reason could be lack of attention, motivation, etc.

The first step is clearing you mind from every single thing that may distract you from doing the assignment. Possible distractions may be msn messenger, TV, cell phone, music, etc… It is important to avoid being distracted or the work will not be done efficiently. Next, you need to gather all of the materials you will need and have them close to you. This way you will not have to stop doing your assignment while you look for the material you realize you need. Instead, you will have them all ready and will finish your work faster. It is also a good recommendation to do your work in a quiet space.

The last step is doing the actual work, which is starting your assignment. This is the hardest part because you may feel hesitant about starting it, but it is important that you do it as soon as possible instead of poster gating it. Remember, once you start the process becomes quicker and you’ll feel times go faster if you put your mind into making the job. If you feel you are getting a little distracted have a little break, clear your mind, and start again. Try to do your work as clean and carefully as possible, so you get a good grade. Also, always try to include the biographical references you used, so you don’t risk getting points lowered form your grade. Last but not least, finish the assignment and turn it in on time.

In conclusion, making homework is not that hard when you know hot to organize yourself properly for it. The previous steps are helpful for it, but there are many others that can serve well too. The trick is creating a working habit in which you do these steps automatically. This way you will never have trouble with your assignments and homework ever again. Following the steps mentioned earlier can bring many advantages to you, such as reducing the amount of time you spend doing homework. Also, you will get better grades in school.

"How to break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend"

Brainstorming
Love, hate, cheat, cry, heart, friends, ego, choices, decisions, relationships, to grow up, boyfriend/girlfriend, fights, apologys, sex, problems, envy, disappointment, anger, pressure, friends, feelings, heart breaker, broken heart, independent

In every relationship there is a time that makes you think if you have to break up, maybe it’s not necessary but you have to think it very well, and if you’re going to do it how to do it with out hurting the other person. Some fights make you think that it’s over and you have to break up, but that’s not always true, some fights makes your relationship stronger and show you the importance of it and how much you love each other. For some couples every fight means the same question: it is time to break up or should I continue with this? And it’s very important, your complete relation and sometimes your life depends from the answer of that question, broke ups and long relationships makes you grow up. Everybody have a best friend, who is always there for you, and the one that know you best, and all that, but never ever let him/her to introduce in your love relationship, it is only for you and your girlfriend/boyfriend. She/he would think that her/his opinion is the best and you have to do but it’s not, you should follow your heart.

First of all you have to decide if you really want to break up or not. Sometimes we’re just having a bad day and we don’t have time for our boyfriend/girlfriend or you have problems and that’s why you’re acting like a jerk, it doesn’t mean that your feelings for her/him change, it’s just the moment. A good way to decided if you want to break up it’s to compare what you and she/he have done, I mean if the problem continues and he/she apology, but he/she continues acting the same it’s a good choice to break up. Never let your heart take the choice by its own you should take it thinking with your heart and brain too, because sometimes if you just let your heart think it would want to keep the person even if he/she is a bad person or not, or if you just think with your brain it won’t forgive anything and if she/he seems a little jerk, it would want to break up.

Now that you decided to break up you should follow some easy steps: The first one it’s to visualize the complete relationship and detect the problem while you’re preparing yourself to talk about it with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Then you must write down what you’re going to say, you must be very subtle to not hurt his/her feelings, making very clear why are you finishing the relationship. It is ok to practice it like if it were an important speech, because in fact it is, now that you practice, what is next to make a date to talk about it, chose a nice place not romantic but not ugly, wear casual clothes, not very sexy, but a little bit sensual to show him/her what he/she have lost. Then you should go there and just drop everything, and do not forget to be clear, because sometimes there are very ‘’innocent’’ people who don’t get it when people break up with them. And that’s it now you’re single again and you can live your life

Don’t ever forget the three most important steps of breaking up: Be subtle, clear and to remark the reason of the rupture. It is very easy to break up, after you decided if it is the right option, just analyze the situation, write down the problems, practice it, make a date to talk about it were appropriate clothes and finally enjoy your single life again.

How to make a good impression on a first date?

Brainstorming:
date girl boy rejecting acceptance dinner movie boyfriend girlfriend likes you likes you not night hygene outfit happyness thrill stress

The first date. Believe it or not someone out there is sweating over this same situation in this moment. It may even be someone in the same room as you are in right now. The truth is a First Date, besides being one of the most thrilling events a man can have, it is also a motive of distress for most of them. It is no secret that atleast 5 out of every 10 woman are going to regret you. That is a 50/50 chance of success –or utter failure— on any date. But hey, if she has already agreed to go out with you, you’re probably doing something right. But still, many things can go horribly, horribly wrong on a first date, and at the end of the night there’s only one thing which trully matters… Either she likes you or she doesn’t. So here are some things you must keep in mind when you go on the grate ordeal of The First Date.

First, keep in mind that no matter how deep the girl claimes she is, appearance is an important factor in making a good impression on a first date. But don’t give up just yet, even if you are one of those people who fell a couple of miles off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, you can still step up your game. Personally, I am not one one to care too much about looks, so when I say appearance what I really want to say is HYGENE. Some guys don’t seem to realize how important hygene really is. Just because you spraid on some lotion and popped in some breath-mits that doesn’t mean she’ll be willing to kiss you at the end of the date. So guys, please, shower! Reapeatedly if you must! Wash and floss your teeth. Nothing makes a girl swoon like a billiondollar smile. Pick out something nice to wear, girls don’t expect you to look like a model. Just choose something that says ‘Hey, even though I’m absolutely color blind and have never in my life watched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy I think you’re important enough to make an effort’.

Second, when picking out a place to take your sweetheart make sure you pick somewhere nice and affordable. The standard is Dinner and a Movie. Movie and Dinner is a preferable order since watching the movie prior to dinner works up some hunger (when you’re hungry food tastes better) and you’ll have something to talk about during dinner. Pick a good movie, and keep it within the two hour ratio or she’ll be to tired by the end of it. When picking a place to have dinner there’s no need to spend too much to make a good impression. Pick a place with a nice vibe, somewhere you two can talk and get to know each other. Keep the story of your life simple, there’s no need to tell her you’re childhood traumas just yet. Talk about standard things, like your favorite book, what does she do in her free time? Stuff like that. Let her know you’re intrested in her. Girls digg that.

Third, and this is the part many guys seem to forget. Keep it real. Be yourself, dude. If she’s meant to like you she will. Spicing yourself up by pretending to be someone you’re not just makes you look phony and unatractive, not to say pathetic. Trust me girls can tell when you’re full of crap (pardon my french), and that will just have her running to her doorstep and inside her house before you can even think about giving her a goodnight kiss. Oh and about that, the infamous goodnight kiss, try your best not to atack her with your lips at the first chance you get. Patiently walk her to her door, if she hesitates to enter the house, plays with her keys in a stalling manner of looks into your eyes for a long time, then she’s waving you in. You’ll know when she wants it, trust me.

So basically what I’m trying to say is that if you keep this simple 4 things in mind while your out on your first date there’s a higher possibility of succes. Of course all things considered there’s still that 50% chance she will not like you. But hey, there are many girls out there who would be thrilled to have someone like you. So if you follow my recomendations and still get rejected don’t get discouraged, she probably just wasn’t for you. So good luck with your dating and remember that being yourself is the most important part of dating.

Enjoy,

How to housetrain your dog?

brainstorming:
puppy, dog, hard work, steps, dedication, patience, tricks, food, time, commitment, rolling, barking.

If you want to teach your dog that going in the house is unacceptable. The first thing you need to is to understand his behavior. If he is going inside the house, you need to punish him while he is in the act, cause if you wait, he will get confused. Then you need to do a schedule. You have to let him know the hours when he will eat & when you will take him out.

The first time you get your dog to your house you need to show it everything inside & after it has been introduced to the house, you must take it out to relieve himself. Everytime your dog is doing a good behaviour you must give him a prize to let him know. Be consistent using one single command  only with the process of  house braking so your dog learn to associate his acts.

If a lot of people lives with you & your dog, you must involve them in the house training. The closer everyone sticks to the plan, the faster the training will progress.  You need to clean up very well every accidents, cause if your dog recognize the smell of his own urine, they will continue doing it in the same spot. This is the reason why you should have a designated area outside.

Let your dog be free in the house with supervision at first for longer periods, until you're sure he will ask to go out when he has to go. This step will not take more than two weeks.

How to get along with your neighbors.

Brainstorm: neighbors, problems, properties, respect, territory, meetings, pets, playground, children, house, noise, cars, space, people, neighborhood, bard, fence, garden.

All right people, you have bad neighbors? Or maybe not bad, but nosey, or annoying? Here is how to try to at least meake things better with them, and try to get along better. It's hard to get along with some people, but sometimes it's better to get along well, than to create a bad relationship with someone who lives next or close to you.

First of all, think of the problems you have, or things that you don't like about your neighbors, are they really that serious. They are? All right then, let's take an example, if for example, the problem is your dog, because according to your neighbor "it barks too much", maybe you could think of a solution, keep your dog inside at night, and then take it out in the morning. Or take whatever example you want, think of the problem you have with your neighbor and think that maybe it's not so bad, and you can come to a solution.

Or maybe there isn't any problems, maybe you just moved to where you live, and you want a healthy relationship with your neighbor. The best thing to do is to respect everyone's thoughts and ideas, respect people's space and properties. You can also organize a party or a reunion to get to know your neighbors better.

In conclusion, you can get along with your neigbors just fine, as long as you respect each other, and think of good ways of resolving the problems you have, because you have to think that maybe you'll live next or close to eachother for a long time.

This film weaves together nightmare and impossible dream. What do you take away as the most important message or impression from the film?

In my opinion, the most important message of the film is that the choices we make will have a lot to do with our future and what happens to us. Also, that every experience we have we lived it for a reason and it will help us later on in our lives. Finally, that having knowledge is way more important than being very rich.

Greed, corruption and the misuse of power are highlighted in the film through a variety of characters. How are those who have money and power glamorized in this film? What happens to the victims?

In the movie people with power and money are shown as capable of doing many awful things to others without being punished or stopped. That people could do what ever they wanted, even abusing of others and no one punished them for it. The victims had to pay for all the things those people did and also obey them if they didn't want to be hurt or damaged by them. Fortunately, two of the victims in the first part of the movie, Jamal and Latika, had a happy ending.
What do you think the film is saying about the globalization of culture through media? We see the game show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” adapted in the Indian culture. Is this a sign of progress? Why or why not? What is this film staying about the effect of money on culture?

This movie shows that the media has a lot to do with the globalization of certain cultures. It clearly has spread ways of living and of thinking, mostly of the US culture, through many other parts of the world with very different cultures. I believe this could be a sign of progress because many places, such as India, are not very developed and most of its people live in poverty and have very little technology compared to countries like Canada or the United States. It can be a good thing that they start adopting some aspects of more modernized countries because they could improve the conditions in which they live. In the other hand, this can also be seen as something bad because by adopting the US culture, India loses many aspects of its culture, such as its traditions and every thing that makes them proud to be called Indian. What the film states is that any culture will adapt to the things that will help them produce more income, in other words money. If a culture notices another culture gets a lot of money by providing a certain service, or by doing a particular thing, it is very likely of that culture to imitate the other one to become wealthy as well.

In one exchange of dialogue in the film during the interrogation of Jamal, the police inspectors discuss the impossibility of what Jamal knows.
Police Inspector: Doctors... Lawyers... never get past 60 thousand rupees. He's on 6 million. [pause]
Police Inspector: What can our slumdog possibly know?
Jamal Malik: [quietly] The answers.
Discuss the irony in the film that Jamal “knows too much” and is suspected of cheating. Discuss the irony that in the end, his poverty may make him rich. What point is the film making? What is real wealth?

The irony of the movie is that Jamal is suspected of cheating because no one had ever gone that far in that game before and they can not possibly believe that someone as poor and ordinary as him can know the answers without cheating. It is very ironic because he is tortured for knowing the answers, when he actually had to suffer a lot during the experiences that gave him the knowledge of those answers. Of course, no one would believe a person as Jamal could know all the answers, but the curious thing is that he knew those answers by mere luck because by being so poor, he got to live many things that lead to those specific answers. The point the film is making is that wealth is not money, but knowledge. It also states that knowledge is not something owned only by the wealthy, but by those people who had actually gone through many experiences during their lives and have learned from them.
Is ethical decision making possible when one must make choices based on survival? Do seemingly “bad” choices make a person bad?
I think that in first place you need to chose one option based on how to survive, but if you have a lot of options more, including survive in all, you must choose the more ethical for you. Everyone does thinks that seems bad to others but for you they aren't bad. & sometimes people think that you are bad for doing any thing, when they don't really know the reasons of why you're acting that way. So i think that it doesn't make a person bad.

The game show format brings into to focus the culture of meaningless competition. What does the spectacle of the game say about what people value today? What values does the media promote? Are they humanizing values? The spectacle of the game say that people only value money & that even when they got a lot of it, they still want more. If the media is only promoting the value of money, it doesn't have humanizing values, cause people only will see in you how much money you have, instead of things that are more important.

Slumdog Millionaire (Erick Guzman)

+) In the film, the theme of destiny is a central theme. What
does it mean that all Jamal desires is just out of his reach?
(The prized autograph, Latika, his brother, the answers, etc.)

R= At the moment that a man can reach something that can be seen like something out of reach; it show to ourselves that even if destiny sayssomething we can change it and make tings work in order to get something we really love. Like Paulo Coelho says: "When a man really wants something the universe conspires in order to make it become real."

+) Compare and contrast three pivotal choices or decisions
made by Jamal and Salim. How do their choices affect their
respective paths in life or “destinies”?

R= I think that a top decision they make as brothers in separate ways and that affect their lives and destiny in a huge way is the fact that they decided to work in different things and to live also in different ways. Because of those decisions one got some especial leanings and stayed alive, and the other brother died and loose love in such a way he couldn’t recover.

Slumdog Millionare - arym

- What does the title mean? How does the title and the
contrasts within it provide symbolic summary of the film?
A slum is a section of the indian society which is really pour, slumdog figuatively means someone who lives in the slums. When you read the title slumdog millionare you can tell that the movie is most likely about someone from the slums who becomes a millionare.

- Early in the film we see the young Jamal dive into a latrine
pit to steal a glimpse at a visiting movie star. How does his
single-mindedness to see this movie star reveal his determination?
What other examples do you see in the film of his
determination?
He is someone who doesn’t give up, someone who no matter what happens tries to reach his goles, another example is him joining Who want’s to be a Millionare just for Latika to see him.

Enjoy,
